Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Recruiting Business Partner for WFM, Workforce Staffing, Specialty Business (WFS-SB) in Austin, TX. You will lead sourcing and closing strategies, build relationships with hiring managers, and close searches against tight deadlines to support Whole Foods Market growth.

You will work with peers on candidate search, process improvement, and strategy development, delivering high-quality service to internal customers and meeting SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research.
• Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities.
• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of equivalent progressive full lifecycle recruiting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, assessment, and closing strategies across teams with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
• Recruit passive candidates and profile people for fit and motivation rather than sell a role.
• Effectively conduct, negotiate and close complex offers in competitive markets.
• Define and implement strategies related to recruitment that support the company’s long-range growth.
• Articulate deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process.
• Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification and screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate.
• Own recruiting programs and initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques and leveraging internal talent.
• Partner with cross functional teams to deliver a pipeline of both internal and external candidates.
• Drive positive candidate experience by influencing client teams to follow best practices and provide excellent candidate experience.
