Job summary

PowerSchool in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant to lead full life-cycle recruiting across multiple functions. You will partner with hiring leaders, build strategies, and manage multiple searches while maintaining candidate experience and recruiting quality.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of recruiting experience, strong behavioral interviewing skills, and fluency with ATS tools and modern sourcing platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent requisitions.
• Proven proactive sourcing strategies.
• Experience with behavioral interviewing techniques.
• Advising hiring leaders throughout the process.
• Experience using an applicant tracking system and sourcing technologies.
• Ability to travel 5–10% for business needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring leaders to understand business goals, team needs, and the outcomes each hire must deliver.
• Build recruiting strategies using market insight, sourcing data, compensation context, and candidate evidence.
• Manage multiple searches while maintaining responsiveness, quality, accuracy, and a strong candidate experience.
• Proactively identify and engage active and passive candidates through professional networks, sourcing platforms, referrals, events, and AI-enabled tools.
• Conduct structured, behavioral interviews to assess skills, experience, competencies, motivation, and readiness for the role.
• Provide clear candidate recommendations and respectfully challenge assumptions when evidence suggests a different approach.
• Build long-term relationships and talent communities across PowerSchool and the EdTech market.
• Continuously improve recruiting practices, tools, processes, and experiences.
