Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our fast-paced Talent Acquisition team in San Diego. You will orchestrate complex interview scheduling, candidate travel, and onsite logistics while partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to deliver a streamlined and candidate-centric process.

You will drive Workday Recruiting utilization, identify bottlenecks, and apply AI-enabled tools to boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR operations, executive administration, or a similarly fast-paced coordination role.
• Experience with Workday Recruiting or a comparable applicant tracking system.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities and complex schedules.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for helping others.
• Experience coordinating executive interviews, candidate travel, or complex onsite events is a plus.
• Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own complex interview scheduling and logistics across multiple hiring teams, including executive-level searches.
• Coordinate onsite interviews, candidate travel, meeting spaces, and hospitality arrangements.
• Anticipate challenges, resolve last-minute changes, and keep hiring processes moving forward.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure timely, efficient interview execution.
• Create a welcoming, professional, and personalized experience for every candidate.
• Ensure candidates are informed, prepared, and supported throughout the interview process.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact, delivering proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Leverage Workday Recruiting to manage candidate workflows, maintain data accuracy, and streamline hiring activities.
• Identify process bottlenecks and opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency.
• Embrace automation, AI-enabled tools, and new technologies to improve team productivity.
• Help accelerate hiring by improving coordination, responsiveness, and operational execution.
• Support consistent interview processes, timely feedback collection, and hiring team readiness.
• Share best practices, mentor fellow coordinators, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll be a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, ensuring recruiting operations run seamlessly while helping us attract and hire exceptional talent. From coordinating complex executive interviews to maximizing the effectiveness of Workday Recruiting, you’ll play an important role in making our hiring process faster, smarter, and more candidate-focused.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to)

What You’ll Do

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly rate we reasonably expect to pay is $23.42-$31.92. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.

In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 15% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program.
