Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Senior Computer Network Architect to support Special Operations communication from Fort Bragg, NC. This onsite role combines network engineering, automation, and operational support to design and sustain mission-critical network infrastructure for deployed and enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate brings TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II, CCNP, and hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure), containerization, Kubernetes, and automation tools.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification.
• CCNP certification.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with containerization technologies and microservice network architecture.
• Strong troubleshooting and cross‑functional communication skills.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, automates, tests, and sustains mission-critical network infrastructure for deployed and enterprise operations.
• Integrates hands-on engineering, automation development, and operational support.
• Performs telemetry and testing to ensure secure, scalable, and rapidly deployable network solutions.
• Coordinates with multiple teams to enable bare‑metal provisioning and rapid deployments.
• Develops secure configuration baselines and conducts fault isolation and remediation.
• Provides technical leadership across system engineering activities and briefings.
