VALIANT TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking a senior Data Engineer/BI Engineer to develop and maintain Tableau dashboards, design ETL/ELT pipelines, and optimize SQL-based queries and reports. The role requires strong leadership and collaboration with analysts and system integrators across the SDLC.

Local candidates in Connecticut who can hybrid-work onsite are preferred, with experience in government or enterprise projects considered a plus.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of IT experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Tableau experience.
• 5+ years with SQL / T-SQL.
• Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and Talend.
• Experience with SQL Server, DB2 and other databases.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT solutions (SSIS / Talend).
• Create and optimize complex SQL / T-SQL queries, SSRS reports, and stored procedures.
• Support data migration and integration from legacy systems.
• Optimize SSIS package and SQL performance.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, users, and System Integrators across the SDLC.
• Implement data quality, reconciliation, error handling, and performance best practices.
