Emploive seeks a Senior Tableau Developer to design, build, and optimize secure Tableau dashboards and reporting within a government data environment in Washington, DC. Qualifications

• Advanced Tableau expertise with Tableau Cloud and Tableau Desktop
• Strong SQL and relational database skills
• Data validation, quality assurance, and performance optimization
• Experience implementing access controls and secure data connections in government environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Proficiency in Python and/or R, SQL and Databricks or similar software

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Tableau solutions: dashboards, reports, workbooks, and visualizations
• Integrate and optimize data: develop queries, connect to multiple sources, transform and aggregate data
• Validate data and reporting: ensure accuracy, completeness, and traceability
• Manage security and performance: maintain security configurations and optimize performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into reporting solutions
• Automate daily reporting: automate data refresh, report generation, distribution, and dashboard updates
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research using client data and present results
