Job summary

Viking Enterprise Solutions in Colorado Springs seeks a System Test Engineer to validate storage and server products, reproduce BIOS/BMC/OS related issues, and collaborate with external partners to resolve problems.

You will develop test plans and scripts, execute tests, and document results in Jira. The role requires 5+ years in engineering, Linux/Windows/Unix, and scripting with Python and Bash.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or computer science or related field.
• 5+ years minimum experience in a related role.
• Excellent working knowledge of OS (Linux, Windows, Unix).
• Experience with Server/Storage system architecture and HW/SW/FW/OS integration.

Responsibilities

• Validate storage/server product designs and reproduce field issues.
• Develop test plans and scripts for product validation.
• Execute test plans and document results for audit purposes.
• Lead issues in Jira and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior test engineers as required.
