Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Aurora, CO, is seeking a Systems Test Engineer – Level 4 to synthesize customer requirements into system test solutions, develop test plans, and coordinate integrated testing.

This on-site role requires an active DoD SCI clearance, a relevant degree with several years of experience, and skills in Python, Bash, Git, Kubernetes, Helm, and Java; familiarity with MBSE and Agile is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at the time of application.
• Experience with ground system software deployment, integration and testing in complex, layered, cloud-based environments.
• Understanding of requirements decomposition, verification activity planning and execution.
• Ability to collaborate with software development teams to ensure understanding, reproduction steps, resolution approach.
• Ability to proactively identify software issues, perform troubleshooting and root cause investigation in support of generating detailed problem reports and engage in rapid, collaborative resolution.
• Experience with Scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash), Git, Containerization (Kubernetes, Helm), and Java

Responsibilities

• Synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.
• Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems.
• Coordinates integrated testing activities.
• Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program.
• Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.
