Job description

Responsible for implementing, supporting, maintaining, and managing IT services, including networking, IT security, email, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

1. Configure and support network and storage environments including SAN, VPNs, firewalls, and virtualization platforms.
2. Implement and troubleshoot multi-site Linux/UNIX and Windows-based application environments.
3. Resolve client technical issues and provide system-level guidance.
4. Maintain enterprise database systems including MS-SQL, Intersystems' Caché, and Oracle.
5. Perform regular system administration tasks including patching and software installation.
6. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and ISO 27000 series security requirements.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience working with enterprise virtualization technologies in production environments.
• At least 3 years of experience with SQL Server database systems administration.
• At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting server systems in WAN/LAN environments.
• Working knowledge of IT standards, concepts, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in time-sensitive situations.

Preferred

• Experience with Windows Server Platform enterprise management.
• Cloud infrastructure management experience.
• Industry certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).

Expectations

• This position requires regular availability outside of standard business hours for critical issue resolution and planned maintenance.
• Must be comfortable with remote work arrangements and virtual collaboration tools.
