Job summary

Luminis Health is seeking a dedicated IS support professional to provide first line assistance, act as a liaison between information systems and clinical operations, and support project efforts for new or enhanced systems.

The role includes pre/post-implementation support, problem management, and ongoing process improvement, with opportunities to mentor IS Customer Support staff and participate in call center activities.

Qualifications

• Clinical exposure in a hospital setting; 1 year required, 3 years preferred.
• AA or Associates Degree (BA/BS preferred); experience can substitute education.
• Epic experience preferred.
• EMR experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead support person for all systems ensuring review prior to escalation while attempting to resolve.
• Takes responsibility for ensuring resolution for and communication to customer.
• Meets individual performance metrics as defined by departmental processes and immediate supervisor.
• Participate in the IS on-call rotation, including rotating shifts and weekends if scheduled.
• Participates in the change control process with engagement and focus on customer support.
• Relays and trains support staff as necessary.
• Answers all forms of customer contacts, including initial phone calls, emails, walk-ins, and self-service.
• Collaborates with physicians to provide exceptional customer service and support.
• Other duties as assigned.
