Job summary

AMD, Inc. is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer to research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for semiconductor operations. You will develop software for design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including operating systems, routers, databases, cloud tools, and more.

Remote work option may be available. Requirements include a Master’s degree in CS/CE/EE and at least 2 years of experience in software

Qualifications

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Two (2) years of experience as a software development engineer or closely related engineering occupation.
• Proficiency in software verification, Agile methodologies, and programming in C, C++, or Python.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, Java or JavaScript, and Git.

• Research, design, develop, and/or test OS-level software, compilers, and/or network distribution software for semiconductor operations.
• Develop software and tools to support design, infrastructure, and technology platforms; determine hardware compatibility and influence design.
