Job summary

Alumni Founders is seeking a backend engineer to design and maintain core systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability for our platform.

You will apply strong Rust skills, work on distributed systems, database schema design, and infrastructure-as-code, and help build automation tooling. Based in Los Angeles, CA, you will troubleshoot across the full stack and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience with strong professional proficiency in Rust and systems-level programming.
• Must have experience with distributed systems, database schema design, and infrastructure-as-code.
