Applied Research Solutions seeks an engineering professional to implement and oversee safety engineering for DoD Air Force weapon systems. You will perform system safety tasks, risk assessments, hazard analyses, and ensure airworthiness and OSS&E compliance throughout the program lifecycle.
The role requires an active Secret clearance, ABET-accredited degree with 12+ years DoD experience or 15+ years with 5+ DoD, plus strong technical writing and collaboration with system safety groups.
A highly skilled engineering professional responsible for implementing and overseeing safety engineering processes for DoD/Air Force weapon systems. This position focuses on risk assessment, hazard analysis, and ensuring all systems are safe to operate and maintain in accordance with military standards and Air Force regulations. The ideal candidate will serve as a crucial member of the systems engineering team, identifying and mitigating safety concerns throughout the program lifecycle. Candidate must possess an active Secret security clearance.
