Job summary

Modern Disposal is seeking a Senior Systems and Network Administrator to maintain and enhance Azure, Meraki, VMware, and SonicWall environments across multiple facilities. You will support servers, networks, and cloud services while improving infrastructure reliability and security.

The role requires deep expertise in Windows/Linux servers, AD/DNS/DHCP, VPN, and security monitoring, with hands-on experience in Meraki/SonicWall ecosystems and virtualization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science or equivalent.
• 6+ years of professional experience in systems or network administration.
• 6+ years hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure / Azure AD / Microsoft 365.
• Experience configuring Meraki switches and security appliances, and SonicWall.
• Experience with VMware, vCenter, Hyper‑V and virtualized infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Windows SQL Server, Linux Server, AD, DNS, DHCP.
• Design and support LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, wireless, and internet connectivity.
• Experience troubleshooting servers, networks, and cloud-integrated systems.
• Experience with Ubiquiti device configuration and deployment.
• Programming ability in .NET, PHP and SQL.
• Familiarity with Terminal Server configuration and app deployment.
• Experience managing endpoint protection, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, and security monitoring tools.

Responsibilities
