Job summary

JobTailor is seeking a senior software engineer to design, implement, and optimize applications using C#/.NET with a focus on high performance and clean architecture. The role involves desktop UI work with WPF and MVVM, and extending MVVM patterns to Blazor for cross‑platform consistency.

You will craft reusable UI libraries, implement CRUD and gRPC services, and document design decisions for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5 years of relevant military/professional experience, or MS with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher
• Strong grasp of agile software development methodologies

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test software using C#/.NET including CLR, GC, JIT
• Develop, profile, and tune high performance, optimized code with runtime/memory profiling
• Build desktop apps with WPF and MVVM; extend MVVM to Blazor for cross‑platform consistency
• Create and maintain reusable UI component libraries for WPF and Blazor
• Implement patterns (CRUD, DTO design, gRPC) for efficient data exchange
• Produce technical docs and translate design decisions for technical and non‑technical stakeholders
