Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Senior Systems Logistic Engineer to support SATCOM logistics within a 24/7 operational environment. The role is based in the Alexandria, VA area with duties including tracking inventory, receiving parts, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will prepare reports, communicate with management and suppliers, and cross-train to assist SATCOM activities. A TS/SCI CI Poly clearance and STEM background are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (STEM preferred) with 5+ years engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in logistics or supply chain.
• Experience with SAP receiving/shipping processes.
• Experience with inventory management and material handling.
• Active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Use MS Office to track and report logistics operations.
• Maintain professional communication with management, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Receive parts and ensure quality/regulatory compliance.
• Conduct inventory cycle counting to maintain accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as needed.
• Control logistics documentation for receipts and shipments.
• Troubleshoot logistics challenges and present reports to leadership.
• Cross-train to support SATCOM activities.
