Job description

Technology On Time, Inc. (TnT) is hiring a Senior Systems Integrator / Engineer to join a long-running national security program supporting the geospatial intelligence enterprise in Springfield, VA. You will help keep a large, complex systems-of-systems enterprise coherent as it modernizes across cloud, on- premise, and hybrid environments, working shoulder-to-shoulder with government engineers and mission stakeholders.

This is a direct W-2 position with TnT, a minority-owned small business that has supported IC and DoD customers for over a decade. Candidates must hold an active/current TS/SCI clearance and be willing and able to pass an additional polygraph as needed.

What You Will Do
  • Perform and assist with leading systems integration activities across the GEOINT enterprise and partner federal agencies to ensure timely and accurate mission delivery.

  • Assist with leading and overseeing a total systems perspective, including a technical understanding of the relationships, dependencies, and requirements of cloud, on-premise, and hybrid services, infrastructure, and security domains.

  • Assist with overseeing the preparation of engineering plans, interface control documentation, and site installation technical design packages.

  • Guide the work of Mid- and Junior-level Systems Integrators and Systems Engineers.

  • Work directly with senior government stakeholders to identify, refine, and document new and emerging mission requirements.

  • Engage mission and technical stakeholders, applying knowledge of GEOINT systems, CONOPS, and metadata to establish and maintain data standards.

  • Identify and help resolve cross-project dependencies so that analytic modernization efforts advance an integrated vision.

  • Support the development and evolution of system and service architectures, including integration across program, segment, and project plans, technical roadmaps, and schedules.

  • Evaluate new technologies for fit-for-use using quantifiable and traceable criteria to enable future decision making.

  • Support Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs) and provide data-driven recommendations, including identification of key decision points and Go/No-Go inputs.

  • Conduct user outreach to communicate planned architecture changes, operational concepts, and project status, and collect user inputs to optimize delivery plans.

  • Support test planning, integration verification, and documentation of as-is and to-be states for assigned projects.

  • Produce weekly activity reports for the government customer and the program.

  • Develop and deliver effective technical presentations to technical and non-technical audiences; must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Work with customers to resolve technical and programmatic issues.

What You Need
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related technical or scientific STEM field such as physics, mathematics, or operations research; or related equivalent additional experience (4 years with no degree, 2 years with a non-STEM degree).

  • Senior-level systems integration and/or systems engineering experience (typically 12 or more years) in government or industry integrating large, complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructures.

  • Demonstrated senior-level experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements definition through integration, test, deployment, and sustainment.

  • Experience in relevant work areas such as the DoD/IC acquisition process, requirements process, PPBES process, or engineering of large complex enterprise systems.

  • Data engineering and architecture experience developing logical and physical data models to support intelligence mission needs.

  • Experience advising both technical and mission stakeholders to advance customer objectives.

  • Prior experience writing CONOPS, interface documentation, or similar technical documentation for a non-technical audience.

  • Active/current TS/SCI security clearance; willing and able to pass an additional polygraph as needed.

Nice to Have
