Job description

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Senior Systems Integrator to join our team!

Join a team that powers the business enterprise behind the mission, supporting the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of more than 100 enterprise business systems that enable tens of thousands of government personnel, industry partners, and prospective employees worldwide. These mission-enabling applications support workforce management, finance, acquisitions, security processing, training, recruitment, logistics, program management, executive decision-making, and other critical business functions across multiple secure environments.

We are seeking a Senior Systems Integrator supporting the Government's Corporate Management Services (CMS) organization. In this role, you will help design, modernize, secure, and sustain the enterprise applications and platforms that keep the organization operating every day. Working alongside experts in software engineering, cloud computing, DevSecOps, systems engineering, user experience, and enterprise platforms, you'll help modernize legacy systems, automate business processes, integrate commercial technologies, and deliver innovative solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the user experience.

The System Integrator will support a portfolio of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications that enable enterprise learning and training capabilities, serving as the technical bridge between applications, infrastructure, databases, and stakeholders to ensure systems are properly integrated, configured, maintained, and optimized to support mission needs. While this is not a software development-focused position, the candidate should be comfortable performing minor code enhancements, scripting, and troubleshooting application code when required.

Responsibilities include:
  • Configure, integrate, and maintain enterprise COTS applications supporting learning and training capabilities.
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot integrations between enterprise applications using APIs, web services, messaging, and other integration technologies.
  • Support application deployments, upgrades, patches, and configuration changes across development, test, and production environments.
  • Perform minor system administration activities, including environment management, user administration, configuration management, and operational support.
  • Work with relational databases to troubleshoot issues, execute queries, validate data, and support application functionality.
  • Analyze system logs, monitor application health, identify root causes of issues, and coordinate resolution across technical teams.
  • Develop scripts and implement minor code enhancements to improve automation, system functionality, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Government Product Leads, developers, system administrators, database administrators, and other stakeholders to implement technical solutions and support system enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, integration diagrams, configuration guides, operational procedures, and support documentation.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing, and release activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, maintainability, and operational processes.
  • Support incident response activities and help resolve production issues while minimizing system downtime.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on application integrations, configurations, and operational best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
  • A bachelor's degree and twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering. Sixteen (16) years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Willingness to embrace challenges and seek to become an expert in the products.
  • Experience with COTS integration.
  • Experience developing and updating technical documentation.
  • Skilled in problem solving and troubleshooting computer systems and software.
  • Experience with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience closely collaborating with the Government customer.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Database.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience managing systems hosted in virtual environments such as AWS
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Confluence & Jira
  • Experience with Nessus and Tenable Security Center
