Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space's SEIT team is seeking a motivated Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join the SEIT group. You will focus on testing and integration across teams and coordinate testing to verify requirements, use cases and scenarios. This role emphasizes developing creative technical solutions and collaborating across sites.

Occasional travel may be required to customer and LM sites nationwide. A Top Secret clearance is required, and US citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with the Space domain (satellite ground systems and orbital platforms).
• Experience developing and communicating test procedures.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.
• Experience with building test architectures.
• Experience with continuous integration pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Travis, etc.).
• Self-driven - ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to work and communicate with teams spread across the country.
• Experience with writing use cases, scnearios, and software requirements for complex systems and defining measurements of success for them.
• Experience with 1LMX Test and Development tools, software, and processes (e.g. Cypress, CI/CD pipelines, Docker container deployments, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement testing of use cases, scenarios, and requirements
• Perform and/or ensure the ongoing verification of the created tests
• Clearly communicating ideas and collaborate across multiple teams
• Support both classified on-site and unclassified testing events
• Occasional travel may be required to customer and LM sites across the country.
