Job summary

Ataero is seeking a highly qualified Systems Integration / GRA / BISF (ADVEW) Engineer to support Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) PMA-272. The role focuses on advanced electronic warfare, systems integration, and architecture development to ensure open architecture, digital engineering, and interoperability across mission systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in systems/engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in systems integration and mission systems.
• Experience with DoD acquisition programs and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of architectures, interfaces, requirements, and interoperability standards.
• Experience with mission systems integration and software/hardware interoperability.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Ability to obtain higher security access as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering and integration support for advanced electronic warfare capabilities and related mission systems.
• Support development and maintenance of Government Reference Architectures (GRA) and BISF strategies.
• Analyze architectures for open systems, modular designs, and interoperability requirements.
• Coordinate integration of EW systems, mission systems, sensors, and avionics.
• Participate in the full acquisition lifecycle from requirements to sustainment.
• Evaluate interfaces, data exchange, and software integration approaches.
