Job summary

Fantom Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to lead the administration, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of complex mission‑critical IT systems. The role spans Linux and Windows environments and includes technical leadership for software integration, testing, troubleshooting, and field deployments.

Key responsibilities include system installation, hardware setup, lab and field testing, and Tier 3 support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• Twelve (12) years of experience as a Software Integrator, Tester, System Administrator, or Systems Engineer on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Must be fully cleared with a recent MD polygraph and willing to work onsite.
• Strong experience administering and troubleshooting Linux and Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, testing, integration, and configuration.
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows operating systems and applications.
• Support hardware and software builds, staging, testing, and integration environments.
• Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting and resolution for complex system failures and performance issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for installation, sustainment, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
