Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to lead obsolescence management for F-15 USAF Training systems and coordinate across software, hardware, and mission assurance disciplines. This position requires a U.S. Secret security clearance and will involve on-site work in MO.

Responsibilities include writing CDRLs, maintaining technical manuals, and delivering trained devices to customer sites with proper configurations. Strong leadership and integration expertise are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Systems engineering experience including system integration.
  • Experience with hardware/software integration, file servers, networks, visual systems, or scripting.

  • Provide technical guidance to technicians and engineering where needed to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Coordinate efforts between multiple engineering disciplines (e.g., software, hardware, mission assurance, etc.).
  • Oversees the asset manager responsible for program assets to ensure proper configurations stocked in inventory.
  • Write CDRLs pertaining to obsolescence management to fulfill prime contract requirements.
  • Manage technical manuals for training devices deployed in the field to proper configuration levels.
  • Coordinate the update of technical operations manuals in alignment with prime contact delivery needs.
  • Assist in troubleshooting of training devices.
  • Support formal testing and installation events as needed.
  • Work with program engineering to resolve cross-functional technical issues.
  • Buildup, integration and test of training devices for final delivery at customer’s site.

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to serve as the systems engineer for the F-15 USAF Training Systems CLS Team in Berkeley, MO.

F-15 Training Systems provides trainers to USAF facilities throughout the US and at OCONUS locations to support warfighters. The F-15 Training systems include high fidelity cockpits with immersive visualization systems, high-fidelity computer-generated forces to provide synthetic opponents to train against, and applications providing instructors control over training setup, execution and post-training debrief.

Boeing is focused on providing and exploring opportunities to enhance the Systems Engineering workforce within Government Training Engineering, work locations to include Hazelwood, MO or Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active). Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Systems engineering experience to include but not limited to system integration
  • Experience with one (or more) of the following: Hardware/Software Integration, File Servers, Computational Systems, Networking Systems, Visual Systems, Operating Systems (Windows and/or Linux) and Scripting
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Leadership experience to include but not limited to engineering leadership roles and/or leading work and driving teams to success
  • Operating System Installation
  • Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) definition and Setup
  • Network Switch Configuration and Domain Setup
  • Product Security and/or Cybersecurity compliance experience

Summary Pay Range: $136,850- $185,150
