Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Reliability Systems Engineer on the Lunar Permanence program in the Merritt Island, FL area. You will lead reliability analyses across spacecraft subsystems, directing FTA, FMECA, and reliability evaluation to meet end-to-end vehicle targets.
The role requires deep systems engineering expertise, strong cross-team collaboration, and the ability to mentor engineers while balancing detailed analysis with system-level decisions.

This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin’s mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.
The MK2 Crew Lunar Lander team seeks a Senior Reliability Systems Engineer to manage multi-functional reliability engineering from requirements through verification, integration, and operations. You will lead the technical progress across spacecraft subsystems and secure the end-to-end vehicle reliability targets. This opportunity is perfect for a systems engineer who thrives in complex, safety-critical programs and can balance detailed technical knowledge with systems-level precision.
