Stand8 Technology Consulting seeks a Systems Administrator / Systems Engineer to support enterprise Windows and Linux environments, emphasizing AD administration and privileged access management. You will work with security teams to remediate findings from assessments, while automating tasks and maintaining system hardening.

The role focuses on infrastructure performance, patching, and IAM best practices. Onsite in Long Beach CA, with competitive hourly compensation and health coverage options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration or systems engineering.
• Strong experience with Active Directory, GPO management, and identity/access administration.
• Experience managing privileged accounts and credential security.
• Familiarity with penetration testing remediation, vulnerability management, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Active Directory, including users, groups, GPOs, and access controls.
• Manage administrative accounts, privileged credentials, and access permissions across enterprise systems.
• Engineer, deploy, and support Windows/Linux server environments and enterprise applications.
• Support enterprise storage, data center, DNS, Azure, and networking environments, including Cisco or HPE switches.
• Implement least privilege access models and support identity and access management practices.
• Partner with security teams to remediate vulnerabilities and penetration testing findings.
• Support CISA remediation activities and address findings identified through security assessments.
• Maintain system security through patching, configuration management, and hardening.
• Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and maintain documentation.
