Job summary

CAC I is seeking a Systems Engineer to apply systems engineering principles across the full lifecycle—concept through retirement. You will interact with sponsors, executives, and peers to ensure technical integrity and completion of multiple ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.

You will participate in life cycle services including engineering, integration, software development, testing, and training development in cyber mission operations.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Poly required.
• IAT Level 3 Certification.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Bachelor’s degree in an Accredited Engineering Field plus 15 years of systems engineering experience.
• Alternative: 19 years general IS/Systems Engineering with HS diploma.
• Master’s degree may substitute for 13 years of experience.
• PhD may substitute for 13 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering across ISO/IEC 15288 Life Cycle phases (Concept– retirement).
• Develop/prepare work products in ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.
• Lead or supervise contractor engineers on projects.
• Analyze alternatives and propose engineering standards.
• Brief stakeholders on technical status and decisions.
