Set of X is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer in Maryland to lead and coordinate systems engineering activities for government contracting programs. The role involves developing engineering deliverables, evaluating technical options, and guiding teams in ISO/IEC 15288 processes.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field with 10 years of systems engineering experience and hold a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline from an accredited college or university; ten (10) years of systems engineering experience.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering activities and assist in preparing work products in ISO/IEC 15288 Technical Process Areas.
• Analyze technical alternatives for projects and provide preliminary recommendations.
• Supervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project.
• Develop and deliver work products across ISO/IEC 15288 Project and Technical Process Areas.
• Propose engineering standards and processes and evaluate suitability for project implementation.
• Contribute to new or innovative approaches to technical or engineering issues.
