Job summary

SAIC's Varen division in Suitland, MD seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to join the Architecture & Engineering team. The role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph and is based in Suitland, MD.

You will architect, engineer, develop, implement, integrate, deploy, and sustain systems to meet mission requirements, perform requirements engineering and testing, and maintain SE documentation. Bachelor's or higher with relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of SE experience; or Master's with 7+ years; PhD/JD with 4+ years.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
• Experience with architecture, engineering, development, integration, and deployment of complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide SE support as part of Architecture & Engineering team.
• Architect, engineer, develop, implement, integrate, deploy, and sustain systems to meet mission requirements.
• Conduct engineering studies, requirements engineering, design engineering, implementation/integration, and test/evaluation.
• Develop and maintain SE documentation and artifacts (needs assessments, project plans, SEMP, configuration management plans, CONOPs, requirements/design specifications, integration/test plans, deployment/validation documents, O&M plans).
• Support performance analysis, problem identification, root cause analysis, and strategic solution development.
