Job summary

Applied Network Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Information Technology Senior Consultant (Sr. Systems Engineer) to join our Fort Meade, MD team. The role focuses on planning, designing, developing, testing, securing, integrating, and maintaining complex network and cyber solutions for critical environments.

You will work with senior IT peers and customers to gather requirements, ensure security standards, and coordinate large projects across multiple locations, including international links.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Knowledge of Arista, Aruba, Plexxi, F5 load balancers, and Dell networking devices.
• Familiar with STE/STN requirements and Nessus for security.
• Familiar with network monitoring tools such as CloudVision, MFNA, and WhatsUp Gold.

Responsibilities

• Designs and oversees implementation of campus or system‑wide networks.
• Customizes designs to meet unique customer requirements and standards.
• Troubleshoots and resolves voice, data, and video network issues across multiple locations.
• Coordinates outages andSite surveys; works with vendors and customers to collect requirements.
• Creates and updates network documentation and enforces security procedures.
