Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide technical support for the TAAS program at Peterson SFB. This full-time role requires a strong background in systems engineering, requirements elicitation, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with RFP development and source selection criteria.
• Knowledge of digital engineering and Microsoft Power Platform; familiarity with collaboration tools.
• Experience across the system development life cycle from initiation through deployment/sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Apply broad system engineering knowledge to the acquisition process.
• Evaluate program portfolios and design system-level tests to meet specifications.
• Prepare technical documents defining system/subsystem characteristics.
• Create management reports and present technical actions using engineering economics concepts.
• Support risk management activities in line with Air Force SEAM processes.
