Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC is hiring seasoned Systems Engineers to lead Tier 0-2 requirements for the 787 program. The role emphasizes servant leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration with design teams to ensure high-quality, traceable requirements.

You will guide engineers through change processes, balance multiple packages, and contribute to engineering excellence and safety. Onsite work is required with limited travel and relocation support available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field; ABET preferred in the USA.
• 5+ years related experience; senior level 9+ years preferred.
• Master’s degree or advanced coursework in relevant engineering fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage 787 Tier 0-2 Requirements (New/Modified/Deviations).
• Coach Design Engineers during requirement changes to ensure traceability and analyses.
• Track multiple work packages and communicate status, risks, and schedule impacts.
• Develop and maintain program process guidance for consistent systems engineering execution.
