Job summary

KBR is seeking a Systems Engineer IV to support planning, integration, test, and validation of Autonomous Collaborative Platform (ACP) systems in KBRs GAME environment. The selected candidate will work with government, industry, and partners to assess technology maturity, develop integration strategies, and support acquisition planning for the Air Force ACP program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 7+ years in autonomy development, autonomous systems integration, AI/ML, robotics, or advanced mission systems.
• Familiarity with Modeling & Simulation concepts & standards (e.g., JSE, AFSIM, MACE).
• Experience with DoD acquisition or military aviation programs.
• Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Support simulation-related analysis, requirements development, and systems engineering activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional AF/LCMC engineering, user communities, and external autonomy experts.
• Support integration plans, interface definition, verification strategies, and test approaches for autonomous systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including operators, engineers, and acquisition professionals.
• Execute simulations to evaluate system effectiveness under operational conditions and scenarios.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for leadership.
• Maintain flexibility to adapt roles to customers’ evolving requirements.
