Job summary

Duotech Services, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead rugged embedded computing system design and ATE development for DoD programs. You will drive architecture, translate customer needs into specifications, and coordinate across electrical, mechanical, software, and test teams.

You will guide system reviews, manage requirements, and support legacy system modernization while maintaining baseline documentation and technical ownership. On-site in Huntsville.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in system-level engineering for embedded/rugged systems, aerospace, or defense programs.
• Experience translating customer requirements into actionable engineering specifications.
• Experience with requirements management or MBSE approaches is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Oversee architecture, planning, and system-level integration of embedded computing systems and automated test equipment.
• Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications and align across teams.
• Lead system-level design reviews, risk assessments, and requirements validation.
• Maintain subsystem designs and configuration management; ensure form, fit, and function.
• Support reverse-engineering and modernization of legacy systems; ensure updated designs meet requirements.
• Collaborate with program management and engineering leads to meet scope, schedule, and performance goals.
• Promote disciplined engineering environments and high-quality products.
