Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in safety-critical industries (e.g., aerospace, defense/military, medical, nuclear).
• Demonstrated proficiency with electromechanical and/or embedded software systems.
• Experience with requirements management, system design, and system integration.
• Excellent written and oral communication and collaboration skills.
• Domestic and international travel may be required (<2 weeks/year).
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical investigation and top-level design for new feature development and change requests from internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead development of primary and secondary radar products for safety-critical surveillance worldwide.
• Develop and maintain specifications and technical documentation to support customer deliverables and internal processes.
• Balance competing interests from multiple stakeholder groups.
• Coordinate with product development management to meet technical, cost, and schedule objectives while managing risk.
• Develop and propose new technologies and capabilities to enhance product performance.
• Support technical and cost proposal preparation for future programs.
