Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor-level engineering/physics/mathematics degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years in safety-critical industries (aerospace/defense/medical/nuclear).
• Proven ability to work with electromechanical and embedded software systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Experience with requirements management, system design, and system integration.
• Excellent written and oral communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (typically <2 weeks/year).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical investigations and top-level design for new features and changes from stakeholders.
• Lead development of radar products for global safety-critical surveillance.
• Develop and maintain specifications and technical documentation for deliverables and processes.
• Balance competing stakeholder interests and manage risk.
• Coordinate with product management to meet technical, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Propose new technologies to enhance product performance.
• Support cost and technical proposals for future programs.
