Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a full-time systems engineer to support a fast-paced Navy program in the Washington, DC area.

The role focuses on leading and contributing to technical reviews, producing required acquisition documentation, and ensuring critical milestones are met. You will work on radar development and integration tasks, provide systems engineering expertise, and coordinate across Working Group Leads to apply disciplined processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
• 15+ years of DoD systems engineering experience.
• Proven experience with Navy surface radar, Electronic Warfare, and/or combat systems design and certification processes.
• DoD Secret clearance required (or ability to obtain).
• Masters degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in major technical reviews and acquirement documentation.
• Ensure milestones are met and resources allocated to priorities.
• Work on radar development and integration documents and tasks.
• Provide systems engineering expertise across disciplines in support of program leadership.
