Job summary

Calance, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to lead cryptographic platform optimization, automation, and future-ready changes.

You will design security controls, manage risk mitigation, and support Directory Services deployments. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, roadmaps, and delivering engineering priorities in line with ARB guidance. Experience with Keyfactor, PKI, PowerShell, cloud platforms, and CI/CD is required or highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years managing certificate and cryptographic platforms.
• 5+ years engineering in Directory Services/DevOps
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (GCP, Azure, AWS)
• Knowledge of API integrations and deploying infrastructure as code

Responsibilities

• Lead the optimization and enhancement of cryptographic platforms, including systems integration and automation.
• Contribute to design and implementation of risk mitigation and system hardening controls.
• Escalation point for admins on the Directory Services team and assisting with automation of routine tasks.
• Design and maintain engineering roadmaps and priorities for the Directory Services team.
• Manage timelines and deliverables for engineering priorities and pilot/POC initiatives.
