Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Sr PKI Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a global PKI/CLM environment. You will automate certificate governance, manage CA lifecycles, and integrate security tools across cloud and on-prem systems.

You will work with distributed teams to ensure secure, scalable certificate services and drive best practices in security automation, scripting, and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional experience in information security with PKI and Certificate Lifecycle Management platforms.
• Strong experience operating, building, and altering PKI/CLM environments.
• Proficiency with Venafi, CyberArk, or Sectigo for CLM tasks.
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash; familiarity with AWS cloud infra.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise PKI and certificate management services.
• Support certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, and recovery processes.
• Implement and automate governance processes for software development teams.
• Coordinate CA lifecycle activities including renewals, migrations, and key ceremonies.
• Assist with development and maintenance of certificate policies and procedures.
• Provide escalation support for complex certificate issues and architectural design questions.
• Configure integrations and automation platforms to optimize operations.
