The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8 years of experience and experience in FDA/FAA‑regulated environments, with medical device exposure highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8 years of experience.
• Experience with complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with electro‑mechanical devices or systems.
• Experience with risk and requirements management.
• Strong technical writing experience with test protocols/reports.
• Experience developing testing plans and executing hands‑on protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
• Onsite in Tucson, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced engineering principles to complex systems and technical assignments.
• Develop and execute comprehensive system/component testing plans.
• Perform DoE and analyze test data.
• Use Python to support engineering data analysis.
• Support manufacturing process development and troubleshooting.
• Manage engineering risks and requirements throughout development/testing.
• Author test protocols, engineering reports, and other documentation.
• Communicate defects and findings to development partners.
