Job summary

MANTECH in Dahlgren, VA seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to join onsite team. You will plan, coordinate, and execute integrated testing events to validate interoperability, baselines, and performance of CIAT system simulations for IAMD and ASW trainers, collaborating with NSWC Dahlgren and Carderock.

The role requires 8+ years Naval Combat Systems experience, strong test and validation skills, virtualization on RHEL 8, and ability to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Naval Combat Systems engineering including testing and evaluation.
• 5+ years in test requirements, plans, data analysis and reporting.
• 4+ years with real-time naval test and evaluation programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and troubleshoot complex software baseline installations in RHEL 8 VMs.
• Draft, refine, and execute SIT, System Hot Washes, and load cycle tests.
• Validate data links and performance across major platforms (OASIS, NGS, JSAF).
• Diagnose, resolve system, network and hardware anomalies across frameworks.
• Author SOPs, briefs, and live-scenario generation guidelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and assist with lab moves and configuration control.
• Travel up to 20% to NSWC Carderock and CIAT sites.
