Job summary

CNF Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 5 to provide senior-level systems engineering expertise in support of Cyber Network Operations (CNO) and enterprise mission requirements. This position serves as the Alternate Onsite Team Lead and supports the development and maintenance of business, systems, and information processes for large-scale, mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus 15+ years of related professional experience.
• Experience supporting Cyber Network Operations (CNO).
• Experience supporting large-scale and/or mission-critical systems.
• Experience across operating systems, development tools, and cloud platforms.
• Expertise with secure software development practices, vulnerability remediation, virtualization and containerization, IaC, automated testing, and software assurance in high-security environments.
• Experience with static code analysis and automated dynamic testing.
• Experience with C/C++, Rust, and/or other compiled languages.
• Experience with Python and Bash scripting.
• Proven senior-level technical leadership in complex enterprise IT environments.]

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership as Alternate Onsite Team Lead.
• Deliver senior-level systems engineering in support of CNO and mission capabilities.
• Develop and maintain IT rules, system requirements, and architectural standards.
• Define and maintain baseline and target architectures aligned with mission needs.
• Support engineering, integration, operation, and evolution of large-scale systems.
• Analyze requirements, constraints, and integration considerations for decision-making.
• Collaborate with teams and partners to ensure architectures meet requirements.
• Support planning, requirements analysis, system integration, and delivery of engineering activities.
