Job summary

Akima Infrastructure Services is seeking experienced engineering and technical professionals to support DOE programs at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN, and the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, TX. Successful candidates will be AIS employees, working under direction from DOE sites, with AIS handling pay and benefits.

Requirements include US citizenship, 18+ years old, and ability to meet pre-employment checks for DOE clearance. This role is contingent on contract award and funding.

Qualifications

• Machining background required.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical systems preferred.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DOE Q clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support configuration management activities and related paperwork.
• Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment and processes.
• Interface with clients, production teams, and management.
• Operate in a nuclear regulated environment familiarity a plus.
