Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Computer/Mechanical or related field.
• 6+ years of R&D or product development experience with systems engineering focus.
• Experience defining and developing system architectures, requirements, interfaces, and verification approaches.
• Understanding of how hardware, firmware, software, and mechanical components integrate to determine system behavior and safety.
• Experience in regulated development environments with risk management and design controls.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system architectures, design documentation, and system requirements for implantable neuromodulation systems, external devices, and software applications.
• Translate patient, clinician, customer, and business needs into measurable system requirements and traceable deliverables.
• Define system behaviors, interfaces, workflows, operating modes, and architecture models while identifying gaps and risks.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to evaluate concepts, resolve tradeoffs, and support system integration.
• Support risk management, verification and validation, regulatory documentation, design reviews, and commercialization activities.
