Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer to support testing, integration, and performance improvements for radar and military systems. This onsite role in Massachusetts requires a STEM degree and at least five years of relevant experience, with travel up to 10% for mission execution at RTX facilities and customer sites.

Qualified candidates will have hands-on experience with hardware, software, and system integration, and must be eligible for a DoD Secret clearance. U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience in one or more of the following: systems hardware, systems integration, or systems test.

Responsibilities

• Support Testing Efforts: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation.
• Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
• Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
• Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
• Collaborate: Work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
• Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 10%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• This role is onsite at our RTX facility in Tewksbury, MA or Woburn, MA.

What You Will Do

In this Systems Engineer role, you will support the following types of activities:

• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or other programming languages.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
