Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer - Modeler to join a high-performance SAFe team in the Intel Sector-Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA).

You will work on capability modernization, integration, cybersecurity, and architectural artifacts using DODAF/UAF methodologies, coordinating with customers and partners. The role requires a Master’s in a related field and 15+ years of experience, plus TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in System Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 15+ years of related experience; additional experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience in system architecture, design, development, requirements analysis, data flow design, network design, testing, and technical documentation.
• Strong MBSE experience with DODAF and/or UAF methodologies.
• Experience supporting legacy system integration and modernization strategies.
• Experience working with government customers and contractor personnel.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Model Based Systems Engineers to develop comprehensive architecture artifacts.
• Engage with stakeholders, customers, partners, and subcontractors to brief and influence decisions.
• Guide technical teams through development of large-scale, complex capability development within an integrated system.
• Prepare and deliver clear written and verbal project communications, status updates, and briefings.
• Mentor team members to support high performance and multiple concurrent projects.
