Job summary

BD is a global medical technology company focused on advancing health. We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide systems leadership across the product life cycle, translating voice of customer into requirements and developing hardware/software design specs.

You will lead cross-functional teams, apply DFSS, ensure verification and validation, and support continuous improvement. On-site collaboration is our standard, with four days in the office per week in San Diego.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
• At least 5 years related work experience.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Experience with Systems Engineering and requirements management.
• Ability to lead and coordinate complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead system/product-level feasibility and risk assessments.
• Develop system-level product requirements and design specs.
• Coordinate verification & validation planning and execution.
• Mentor on smaller project core teams and drive continuous improvement.
