Job summary

Leidos Maritime Systems Division is seeking a Systems Engineer with MBSE, requirements development, test planning and procedure creation, and algorithm development to support the C4I Prototype buoy project. The role involves hardware/software integration, stakeholder communication, and driving process improvements in an Agile environment.

The successful candidate will understand system engineering processes and contribute to deployment readiness, with responsibilities spanning from requirements

Qualifications

• Requires US citizenship.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics with 4+ years of experience or Masters with 2+ years.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Experience across all phases of Systems Engineering including requirements, algorithms, integration, test, and modeling.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills for interfacing with internal and external contacts.
• Ability to possess business and technical vision.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of systems engineering artifacts: Requirements, SysML models, Test Plans, Test Procedures, Formal Test Reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and verification activities.
• Contribute to Agile development practices and process improvements.
