HX5 is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join the team at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. The role focuses on MBSE, SysML, and digital engineering to design and sustain complex DoD systems.

You will work across acquisition, development, integration, and fielding with a focus on system-level performance and interfaces. The position requires DoD experience, strong MBSE and SysML skills, and the ability to produce technical documentation and presentations for leadership and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field with 12 years of relative DoD experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 15 years of relative DoD experience.
• 20 years of relative experience, eight of which must be in the DoD.

Responsibilities

• Apply MBSE to system and architectural design using SysML.
• Develop and review technical documents defining system/subsystem characteristics.
• Prepare reports and conduct technical presentations for planning, implementation and corrective action.
• Validate systems and perform analyses to ensure performance meets specifications.
• Provide engineering support and training across acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, and deployment activities.
• Support proposal analysis comparing feasibility, compatibility, and cost-effectiveness.
