Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to lead modernization of SE processes, integrate MBSE data reviews, and drive collaboration across engineering teams at our Huntsville facility.

The role requires navigating DoW and MDA strategies, developing implementation plans, and mentoring teams to deliver efficient, traceable results in fast-paced defense programs. Strong communication and systems thinking are essential for executive-facing briefs.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and secret clearance required.
• 10+ years applicable, progressively complex, systems engineering experience (Master’s path).
• 20+ years applicable, progressively complex, systems engineering experience (Bachelor’s path).

Responsibilities

• Develop systems engineering modernization strategies and implementation plans.
• Lead MBSE data reviews and stakeholder briefings.
• Foster real-time, multi-user collaboration across engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Analyze DoW and MDA strategies to ensure alignment with senior leadership.
• Promote efficiency, agility, and traceability in fast-paced environments.
• Participate in briefings to senior leaders.
• Collaborate with diverse groups and joint initiatives in adaptive environments.
• Provide recommendations supported by results and engineering experience.
