Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in systems engineering or related disciplines.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced certification such as CASP+, CISSP, or equivalent aligned to DoD requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise server management, network management, user account management, security management, and backup and recovery operations
• Ensure the operation and upkeep of computer systems, servers, and networks to maintain secure and reliable access to resources
• Perform and oversee automation activities, including scripting using common scripting languages
• Apply advanced knowledge of operating systems, networking, security, and cloud computing to support enterprise infrastructure
• Provide strategic direction for system administration activities and guide infrastructure operations
• Lead infrastructure upgrade, optimization, and modernization projects
• Serve in a site lead capacity, coordinating system administration functions across the environment
