Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Navy CPS program. You will review architectural and interface artifacts, assess requirements, and prepare actionable comments for government reviews.

You will work across DoD and industry stakeholders to ensure completeness and traceability of deliverables. Responsibilities include evaluating ICDs and IRSs, tracking CRM comments, and aiding in SRR/PDR/CDR/T RR preparations.

Qualifications

Experience reviewing and commenting on architecture, interface, and requirements for complex defense systems.
Knowledge of DoD processes and guidance as applied to system development and reviews.
Experience with requirements decomposition, allocation, and traceability.
Experience developing and adjudicating comments through CRM processes.
Familiarity with DoD technical review processes (SRR, PDR, CDR).
Strong technical writing skills for concise, defensible comments.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent document reviews independently.

Responsibilities

Review and assess LSI-created system architecture products and MBSE artifacts.
Evaluate ICDs, IRSs, and IDD for completeness and compatibility.
Analyze specifications for verifiability and traceability to requirements.
Prepare and track comments using CRM, supporting meetings with LSI and Government.
Identify risks and gaps, recommending corrective actions.
Support preparation for SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR reviews and assess criteria.
Assess verification approaches and VCRM matrices.
Support change management and review ECPs for technical impact.
Participate in ICWGs and other technical groups.
Prepare briefings and assessments for Government leadership.
